Big bike lovers around the world are certainly no strangers to the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R which is one of the best sports motorcycles in the world besides the Ducati Panigale V4, the Honda CBR 1000RR SP2, and the Yamaha R1M. For more details continue to see the information below.

Engine Performance

Kawasaki ZX10R or Ninja ZX-1OR deserves to be called as one of the best sportbikes in the World because this motorbike has been equipped with a 4-cylinder 16 valve DOHC engine that has a cylinder volume of 998cc. The engine capacity is very large, so don’t be surprised if the power and torque are abundant. Where to reach 201 Horse Power that can be achieved at 13,000 rpm engine speed. Whereas the peak torque reaches 113.5 Nm at 11,500 RPM. Armed with that much power, of course, the Ninja ZX-10R can run very fast on the highway or circuit tracks.

Zx10 Engine

Ninja ZX-10R’s acceleration capabilities are beyond doubt. This motor can be sped up to a speed of 189 mph or the equivalent of 304 km/hour. The motor is equipped with a Fuel Injection combustion system with an electronic throttle valve that allows the ECU to send fuel and air ideally to the engine. For acceleration, this superbike is equipped with a 6-Speed Gearbox with the Kawasaki Quick Shifter feature so that it can shift gears easily without the need to pull the clutch lever.

The specifications of the Kawasaki ZX10R are specifically designed for racing needs. No wonder Jonathan Rea has been able to dominate the Superbike World Championship for the past few years using this bike. This sport bike is equipped with many sophisticated electronic devices that ensure optimum engine performance, such as the S-KTRC (Sports Kawasaki Traction Control) and Power Mode.

In addition, there is also a KLCM (Kawasaki Launch Control Mode) feature that optimizes acceleration when pulling the gas lever from the stop state. This feature also serves to adjust the engine output electronically so as to prevent wheelspin. Then there is also the Cornering Management Function feature that makes cornering capabilities more optimal.

Design & Dimensions

All features available are very sophisticated and will be combined with a sporty design that looks aggressive and exotic. The dimensions themselves are 2,090 mm long, 740 mm wide, and 1,145 mm high. Then the axle is 1,440 mm and the ground clearance is 145 mm from the ground. Considering the body dimensions are quite large, it certainly makes the Ninja ZX-10R weight heavier. Where to weigh up to 206 kg and has been equipped with a gas tank with a capacity of 17 liters.

This motorbike reflects a racing motorbike that has a sporty and aerodynamic design. The fairing design also shows the aggressiveness of the sport motor and the headlamp section adheres to a double headlamp which certainly can produce very bright lighting when driving at night. At the front, there is also an air hole (Air Ram) which will indirectly cool the engine temperature when it accelerates. As for the turn signal made together with the rearview mirror and for the back already uses LED lights with a modern and sporty design.

Suspension & Braking

The indentation of the Ninja ZX-10R body is so sharp and specifically designed to produce the best aerodynamics. In addition, this motorbike offers a sporty driving position that is made slightly bent. The driving position is indeed not as comfortable as the Touring motorbike or Adventure motorbike, so it feels quite tiring when driving for a long time. Then for the suspension part using Showa Upside Down which is electronically controlled or can be called also as KECS (Kawasaki Electronic Suspension).

KECS technology is able to adapt to road conditions in real-time so as to produce damping power according to the conditions of the road being traversed. The size of the Upside Down ZX10R is also large, reaching 43 mm. Then for the back using Horizontal Back-link with BFRC lite gas-charged shock. All the suspensions are very sophisticated and are combined with large tires that have a size of 120 / 70ZR17M / C (front) and 190 / 55ZR17M / C (rear). Both wrapped 17-inch alloy wheels that have a modern and sporty design.
