Suzuki gave quite an interesting surprise for big sports bike lovers by releasing the new generation Suzuki GSX S1000 for 2021. This generation offers quite a lot of new things when compared to the previous generation.

Almost all of the changes made by Suzuki to their latest flagship naked bike are to provide fresh air for motorsport lovers. Various kinds of changes made do not only refer to the kitchen runway or engine sector, but also the features and technology that have been upgraded.

But that’s not all that makes this Suzuki naked bike special. Here are some things you need to know about the Suzuki GSX-S1000 2021;

The first thing we’re going to look at is design. This new Suzuki motorbike comes with a much more aggressive design. We can clearly see this with the naked eye.

Where the most visible part is on the side of using the main lights that have used the latest models. Suzuki has put in place two LED projectors that allow for maximum illumination at night.

While right at the top right and left there are turn signal lights that have also adopted LED technology. Not only that, comparable to the price of the Suzuki GSX S1000 2021 which price is more expensive than the previous version, there are other interesting things about the fairing it carries.

The fairing body of the Suzuki GSX S1000 2021 is now made with a more attractive appearance with the use of blue panels. More interestingly, Suzuki has also put a new winglet on the front side. The use of this winglet is inspired by motor racing in the MotoGP arena.

Then slide to the backside, we will find a stop lamp that is made small but still carries LED technology. So that the flame was so bright. That way, the rider on the rear side will be clearer in knowing when we are braking.

As for the overall dimensions of the naked bike Suzuki GSX S1000 2021, which is around 2115 x 810 x 1080 mm with a wheelbase of 1460 mm. Meanwhile, the lowest distance to the ground is around 140 mm and the seat height reaches 810 mm.

The overall weight of this latest Suzuki naked bike reaches 214 kg. Using a Suzuki GSX S1000 2021 motorbike for long-distance trips, you don’t need to worry, because it is comparable to the price offered. This motorbike is equipped with a 19-liter fuel tank.

Engine

The Suzuki GSX-S1000 2021 4-cylinder engine produces more power and a wider distribution of torque at the lower engine speed. Changes include new intake and exhaust camshafts, new valve springs, new clutch, and new exhaust.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Suzuki GSX-S1000 2021 delivers more cumulative torque throughout the rev range, filling in the decline on the graph with a flatter curve. 149hp peak power at 11,000rpm.

The new exhaust retains the soundtrack of the previous model, which is useful for increasing power and meeting Euro 5 emission requirements with an added catalytic converter.

New electronic throttle bodies help achieve a more controlled engine response during initial throttle opening. The new Airbox does this without an internal separator and reduces entry resistance.

The reduced valve overlap also helps the Suzuki GSX-S1000 2021 meet Euro 5 emission standards, thanks to the new camshaft and revised cam profile. The revision also helps control the engine for the rider.

Additional controls and performance improvements are also present thanks to the Suzuki Clutch Assist System. The slipper clutch is partially disengaged to reduce negative engine torque and reduce the effect of the engine brake when downshifting from high rpm. This helps prevent the rear wheel from locking or jumping and provides smoother regarding.

Talking about features, it is equivalent to the price of the Suzuki GSX S1000 2021 which is more expensive than its predecessor. This Suzuki naked bike comes with so many powerful features. No exception to the electric control system by adopting throttle technology.

The throttle will be controlled electronically with SIRS (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System) and SDMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) technology. The use of this technology allows users to choose the output characteristics of the three modes offered, namely:

– Mode A: For sporty use
– Mode B: General use
– Mode C: Use for the gentlest power delivery

Not only that, but there is also an LCD instrument panel that is more complete and fully digital, which is equipped with a traction control system with 5 levels of adjustment.

Other features that can maximize the use of this motorbike include a quick-shifter to allow you to get a sense of comfort when moving up and down the transmission gears without having to press the clutch. There is also the Suzuki Easy Start System which will make the start process easier and less noisy.
