The premium automotive manufacturer, Lexus, began to tease the public with the appearance of their latest concept car based on electric cars. Currently, Lexus has not provided information regarding the concept model.
However, quoting from Carscoops; Toyota’s luxury car division said the concept car that will be displayed illustrates Lexus’ intention to provide an overview of the automotive industry related to the future.
Seeing the image that is presented, the front view is slightly revealed through a shape that is still similar to the UX300. The bumper that adopts the spindle grille design is still being maintained by Lexus to give the identity that this car is a superior product.
Not only in terms of the grille that can be described. But for the lighting system used, through the released teaser, Lexus looks to present a tapered and premium-designed LED light through its curves.
Lexus hasn’t commented much on the concept, but they have confirmed that this concept model will come with an electrification system.
They also announced that this mysterious concept car will use the DIRECT4 electric drive system. This technology is a new feature that will be used by Lexus for hybrid cars and electric cars in the future.
This concept car has also been planned to use two battery units which are placed at the front and rear. Regarding the power that can be generated, information circulating says this car is capable of producing 201 horsepower and a maximum torque of 300 Nm.
