Currently, modern cars produced by automotive manufacturers are equipped with a head unit with a touch screen feature. But usually, the screen of this head unit looks dirty quickly, because it is functioned using the touch of a finger. A dirty screen condition, such as a lot of fingerprints, can make the touch screen sensitivity decrease. But, there is an easy way to clean it. Usually, the touch screen is sensitive to dirt and oil, especially when our hands are dirty. Fingerprints can stain and affect sensitivity.

To clean the touch screen head unit yourself at home, prepare a cloth or cloth that is soft or has microfiber material and dampen it slightly with water. Just put a little water on the cloth, or you can also use a cleaning liquid for the cellphone or laptop screen.

Avoid any chemicals including alcohol to clean the touch screen. When you cleaned it up, just wipe it, don’t press it. Wipe gently until you feel the fingerprints and dirt on the touch screen are gone. In essence, do not directly wet the touch screen with water, because that will be at risk of damage.
