Now the center of this company is based in West Germany. In the era after World War II, the stocks in Audi’s company was fully owned by Daimler-Benz, but the production was weaker and did not have the good income because Daimler was too focused only on the 2-tag engine.
Unfortunately, since most of the stock was moved to Volkswagen, Audi’s growth increases more. Audi 60, Audi 75, Audi 80 and Audi super 90 are the example of achievement from Audi production car. This was the first time Audi produced a 4WD car called Audi Quattro and it was introduced in 1980. After that, the next 4WD technology system continued to be applied on the Audi S4 and Audi S6. Here was the beginning of Audi’s glory and growing year by year. In 1986, Audi launched the Audi type 89 which in its achievement succeeded recording the sales in the top number.
Audi’s sales were going down in 1987 which was a retaken incident for Audi 5000 model made from the year 1982-1987. The cause of this problem was the deaths of six persons and more than 600 accidents by this car. As for some reports from users of this car, there were many experiences that got acceleration accidentally. Most of them said that the Audi 5000 has a problem on the brake pedal when it was pressed. Luckily, this company improved their productions time by time.
Until now Audi grew rapidly from the early 2000s starting from the sales number of 653,000 units to 1,003,000 in 2008. The popularity of Audi is increasingly heard and viewed by the world when China, which is the largest car market in the world, began to donate 108,000-unit sales from 705,000 units in 2009. Indeed, the growth is coincidental because, in China, people worked by Audi car as their official car.
