Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa is determined to close his race career by winning the MotoGP world title. The rider nicknamed The Little Spaniard was admitted he is proud to be part of Team Honda.
However, Pedrosa wants himself to make an important contribution for Honda to achieve maximum results. The Spanish racer is ready to appear competitively in 2018 MotoGP and compete for the title of world champion.
“I am honored to be part of the Honda family. I hope my racing career ends with being a champion at Honda. The time will answer it, “said Pedrosa, quoting from the AS.
“But I prefer to talk about what I have done, not about what I feel can be done,” he continued.
On the other hand, Pedrosa reaps the unfavorable results while competing in the 2018 MotoGP premier series. The 32-year-old rider was only in the seventh position at Losail Circuit, Qatar, Sunday, March 18, 2018. He recorded 42 minutes 39.275 seconds and 4.621 seconds adrift of Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Corse) who performed the fastest.
Meanwhile, Pedrosa’s teammate, Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) finished second in Grand Prix (GP) Qatar. While Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha) was in the third place.
Pedrosa said 2018 MotoGP competition is also determined from the details as last season. He called the rear tire grip has a significant influence on the performance of his motor on the track. Even so, he still wants to offer the best for the team.
“As I said at the beginning of the year, this season will be determined by small details. Lack of rear tire grip can affect our career, “he explained.
