Nissan finally announced that they will produce their electric car with crossover genre, the Kuro IMx. The news was delivered directly by Nissan’s Executive Design Director, Mamoru Aoki, on the mat Geneva Motor Show 2018.
“The IMX is not just a concept car, and in a few years it will show up,” Mamoru said in Autoevolution.com.
Quoting from the same source, Kuro IMx will be carrying a design like the Nissan Leaf. However, this electric car will have a more futuristic face.
Technically, Kuro IMx capable of pumping power of 435 hp and torque reaching 700 Nm. Power is generated by an electric motor mounted on each axle. Parties Nissan claims that this car can travel 600 kilometers with the battery in full condition.
However, this crossover will not be released in the near future. In addition to Mamoru’s words that refer to “a few more years”, competition in the electric car sector is quite heavy. The reason, Roadster II is able to cover a distance of 1,000 km with full-charged battery condition. The plan, Tesla will release the car in 2021.
