Austin, United States: Marc VDS Honda racer, Franco Morbidelli, admits that he still needs more time to adapt to his RC213V iron horse. He assessed at this time still have not found the right feeling with Honda motorcycles.

As we know, the former Moto2 racer is only able to finish 12th in the opening race at Losail Circuit, Qatar on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Surely this result is still not too bad for a beginner, because he still has the ability to compete competitively against senior riders.

In the second series race in Argentina on April 9, 2018, even Morbidelli appearances more declined by finishing in the 14th position. However, the Movistar Yamaha rider, Valentino Rossi is still able to serve the pressure provided by Ducati Corse rider, Jorge Lorenzo was right behind him.

In short, the Italian racer is admitted still need more time with his Honda motorcycle with an effort to add experience in the MotoGP class. He also still needs to understand the characteristics of Michelin tires used on each track.

Morbidelli also rated the race at the Austin Circuit, Texas, United States, will demand great physical strength. Because there are many corners with hard braking zones as well as the form of a very technical trajectory.

Therefore he said he would continue to work hard with his team to find the best setting to conquer this 5.5-kilometer circuit.

“I still need more rounds using RC213V. More racers and more work to understand the motorcycle and tires better, “said Morbidelli, as reported by Honda Pro Racing.

“In short, we need more experience, so now, every race is an opportunity to continue the learning process. Racing in COTA is very demanding of physical strength, but it is also very technical, so finding a good setting quickly will be very important, “he continued.
