Doha, Qatar: The new Marc VDS Honda team rider, Franco Morbidelli, admits that he is in a happy feeling right now. Morbidelli is happy to see the results of his race in Qatar 2018 MotoGP that held on Sunday night March 18, 2018 local time.
Morbidelli did achieve pretty good results when passing at Circuit Losail, Qatar, Sunday night. The Italian rider was able to perform quickly so that perched in the 12th position with the time records 42 minutes 50.928 seconds.
For Morbidelli, the results were very positive. He feels he has made a good move in the 2018 MotoGP premier series. With this condition, Morbidelli was sure to achieve better results when facing the next series.
“This result is better than I thought, for me, my appearance at the Losail Circuit became a very good first race in the MotoGP class,” said Morbidelli, as quoted by Speedweek, Tuesday March 20, 2018.
“I am also happy with the team that is completely behind me. My speed is good. But most importantly, I’m able to finish the race here. I also got a lot of lessons. I managed to apply this goal appropriately, “he said.
Morbidelli did not expect to carve a pretty slick results in the 2018 MotoGP Qatar. Because, not good incision was always obtained when taking pre-season tests, qualifying, free practice sessions of MotoGP Qatar 2018.
While taking a preseason test at Qatar’s Losail Circuit, Morbidelli was only able to sit in the 13th in 1min 55.132sec. The 23-year-old rider also achieved poor results while following the 2018 MotoGP training session of Qatar MotoGP. He can only sit in the 15th position during the fourth training session.
Similarly, while following the qualifying session in MotoGP Qatar 2018, Morbidelli can only occupy the 14th position. Therefore, the winner of the 2017 Moto2 world champion is very happy to be able to occupy the 12th position when undergoing a real race.
