In choosing an aftermarket four-wheel exhaust system needs to pay attention to various factors. Given the number of brands and manufacturers of exhaust systems in circulation, it takes precision to avoid unwanted incidents.

One of the factors is the building material of the exhaust system. According to some modification workshop mechanics, the material has an important role in order to make the component to last long under extreme conditions.

Good material to be used as exhaust material so far is stainless steel with code 409L and 304. Has high levels of anti-rust. The content of nickel and chromium is very high.

The choice of material also depends on the part of the exhaust system itself. As an illustration, mufflers with headers have functions and work under different pressures. Of course, the material used is also different.

Mufflers and headers are definitely different material. With different heat, the header material should use a material that is resistant to high temperature and fast cool.
