After the 125cc ADV motorcycle concept, Honda did not stop presenting plans for the presence of ADV motorcycles with 4-cylinder engines. This time the great hands of the Honda’s Rome R&D team presented a beautiful concept motorbike on the basis of the Honda CBR650R at the EICMA Milan event.
The design of the CB4X Concept is indeed captivating, very detailed and illustrates how the Design team led by Valerio Aiello really shed all their aesthetic creations on the motorcycle that basically people will rarely see their beauty. But if it is indeed intended to be offroad or through the forest, who will also see its beauty? Tiger or maybe Giraffe? 😀
Used to penetrate forests or off-roads, but like the Yamaha Tracer 700, the appearance of the Honda CB4X remains charming, sharp, racy; typical of superbike motorcycles. Look at the rear tire that has a width of 17 inches combined with the adjoining swingarm or commonly used in Honda known as Pro-arm.
Not to mention the details of the long front suspension typical ADV bike combined with high windscreen will increase security feel when adventuring. The tail section is fairly clean but when you see the Double Barrel Muffler from SC-Project, the team returned to play a Venn diagram where there were a lot of design slices between ADV and Road race.
After trying this bike hundreds of kilometers on the streets. The engine that is presented is indeed a combination of the savagery of an in-line 4-cylinder engine with the hospitality of its delivery power. Therefore it is truly Kaypoh if later Honda will realize this concept motorbike into the next ADV mass product.
