Jerez, Spain: Negative results must be obtained by Yamaha Movistar veteran Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi when competing in the fourth series of the 2018 MotoGP season. Rossi is only able to finish the race in the fifth position.

In the race that took place at the Jerez Circuit on Sunday, May 6, 2018, local time, Rossi actually started the race from a less promising position, the order of the 10th. However, because many racers who crash, Rossi finally able to finish the race in the fifth position.

Knowing these conditions make Rossi was then made his comments after the race. The Italian racer was also admitted quite satisfied with the results of the race in MotoGP Spain 2018.

Moreover, Rossi himself admitted that the speed of his motorbike when following a series of free practice until the qualifying session is not fast.

“After what I’ve shown in the two days of training this weekend, getting fifth in the race I think is a positive result,” said Rossi, as quoted from Speedweek.

“At the end of this race (in MotoGP Spain 2018) I feel quite happy with what we get. However, it is not good news to be satisfied with the fifth place, “continued the 39-year-old racer.

“But for now we have to accept that we can not expect others with our technical situation. Our performance also depends on the track. In some trajectories we do feel more miserable than others, “he said.

The result of the race in MotoGP Spain 2018 makes Rossi must be satisfied in the sixth position in 2018 MotoGP standings. Rossi is 30 points adrift of Repsol Honda rider, Marc Marquez, who leads the 2018 MotoGP standings.
