The early career the Italian rider Valentino Rossi in the first-class Grand Prix, so dominated with the Honda motorcycle. Rossi was immediately able to enliven the front row and fight for the world title even he won the title while still in the satellite team at that time.

But who would have thought, amid his glory with Repsol Honda, Rossi actually made the public surprised by his decision to move to Yamaha, which at that time was not a strong rival for Honda.

It did not take long, Rossi, who had dominated with Honda, managed to show the same glorious performance at Yamaha, a machine that was not as powerful as Honda at the time.

2003 became one of the historic seasons for Rossi, he managed to become a world champion with Yamaha, defeating the superiority of Honda.

In the 2011 season, a similar move was again taken by The Doctor, he was once again surprised by choosing to join Ducati, leaving Yamaha.

Unfortunately, Rossi’s magic at that time did not work with Ducati, his two years experience with Ducati as the dark years for the # 46.

Rossi claimed to surrender with a Ducati bike, then begged to be able to return to Yamaha. And in the end, Rossi was able to return to Yamaha in 2013, until now he is still one of the mainstays in the team with the tuning-fork logo.

What may have been overlooked is the fact that Yamaha had actually closed its doors to Rossi after he left for Ducati. In 2013 Yamaha actually could no longer accept the return of a Rossi, fortunately, there was one important person at Yamaha who could save his career, he was Lin Jarvis.

“Two years with Ducati, it seems to be the end of the story. I beg to return to Yamaha. But they didn’t want me after separating. ”

In the beginning, they answered ‘no, it’s over’. But fortunately there was Lin Jarvis, but there was also technical director Nakajima who said no.

But others supported me to return. And we know more, “Rossi admitted, as published by Paddock-GP.
