Losail, Qatar: The Italian rider Andrea Dovizioso fined the front of the 2018 MotoGP premiere series at Circuit Losail, Qatar, Sunday (3/18/2018) night. This race became the first victory for Ducati Corse team jockeys since arriving in the premier class in 2008.
In this first series race, Zarco started the race by being in the front row. He successfully defended his position for several laps.
Since the beginning of the race, the appearance of the number 5 owners was quite impressive. While a number of drivers try to disrupt Zarco’s concentration by sticking tight. They are Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez.
12 laps before the race ended, podium contest competition getting fierce. Rossi who was second in the rankings slipped to fourth after Marquez and Andrea Dovizioso took their place.
When on the track straight, the speed of Desmosedici GP18 motorcycle ridden Dovizioso appear surprising by devouring Marquez. But it did not last long considering The Baby Alien again took the second place. Unfortunately, that still has not changed Zarco’s position at the forefront.
In this race, there are three drivers recorded failed to finish the race after a fall. They are Alex Rins (Suzuki), Pol Espargaro (Redbull KTM) and Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Corse).
Disaster finally came five laps before the race ended. Yes, Dovizioso and Marquez successfully poked his position to the first and second. Last year’s MotoGP world champion had a clash with Zarco but did not make him lose his balance.
While Zarco continued to slump to sixth after being overtaken Rossi, Cal Crutchlow, and Danilo Petrucci. Tension had occurred in the final corner when Marquez tried to disrupt Dovizioso.
However, Dovizioso successfully ended the fight by touching the finish line first followed Marquez and Rossi. The racer, known by the nickname Little Dragon, had at least succeeded in changing the runners-up stamp three times at the Losail Circuit, Qatar. This victory can be used as an important capital to win the championship this season.
